Trill Carter is a graduate student-athlete who plays football at the University of Texas. Before transferring to Texas, Trill spent his first few seasons Minnesota. During his Freshman season, he played in  7 games and registered 16 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and one interception. 

In 2021, Carter started in 11 of the 12 games he appeared in. He made 21 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, and one sack.  In 2020 and 2021, he was named to the All-Big Ten Academic Team. He is from Leesburg, Georgia, and is studying Youth Studies.
